We offer expert medico-legal reports and assessments for solicitors and case managers. Our team work effectively and in partnership with a range of rehabilitation and legal professionals to ensure the most comprehensive service is provided for each client.
The occupational therapists at Rehabilitation for Independence can assess a child’s sensory processing difficulties for example, is the child experiencing too much or too little sensory information, to allow normal functioning. We can provide detailed activity plans (sensory diets) to parents, teaching staff and support networks.
A sensory diet is the approach of a carefully designed programme of activities that are child-focused. The activities are tailored to enhance attention, performance and achievement with everyday tasks both at home and school.
Our support workers are all highly skilled in all forms of communication and can quickly build rapport with their clients, their families and other professionals.
This highly specialised service means our clients are able to make the most of their rehabilitation journey, aiming to reach and surpass their goals in order to live as independently as possible and enjoy their quality of life. From 4 hours a week to full 24/7 care packages we will find the right service for you and your loved ones.
Our training is delivered by an experienced Occupational Therapist with extensive knowledge of the subject matter and knowledge of the current best practice. Training is tailored to meet the needs of the audience and can be delivered in a variety of locations.
