Amy Heaton

Amy is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist who qualified in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of Salford. Since then, she has continued to develop her clinical expertise, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Complex Rehabilitation at Liverpool John Moores University and undertaking a variety of specialist training in neurological rehabilitation.

Amy is a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT), and she adheres to the highest standards of professional practice.

With a strong foundation across a range of complex clinical settings, Amy’s primary specialism lies in neurological rehabilitation. She supports individuals affected by traumatic brain injury, stroke, and other complex neurological conditions, delivering client-centred, evidence-based interventions in both inpatient and community settings.

Her wider experience spans poly-trauma, functional mental health conditions, advanced dementia, spinal injuries, and intermediate care. Amy also provides input within a specialist neuro-rehabilitation unit, offering holistic and tailored therapy to individuals with acquired brain injuries and long-term neurological conditions.

Amy is well known for her empathetic, client-focused approach and her ability to adapt therapy to the unique needs and goals of each person she works with. As an Associate Therapist, Amy is available for both private and professional referrals, bringing clinical excellence, compassion, and person-centred care to every client.
